"Todd and Crystal left Brooklyn in the Summer of 2016 after a combined 30 years in the city to try their hand at building sustainable food systems in the Hudson Valley.
Both had very limited experience in agriculture, mostly relegated to growing tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and hops on fire escapes (when the neighborhood squirrels didn't kill everything out of spite.) Being lifetime New Yorkers, they wanted to show that interesting and dynamic wines could be grown in the Hudson Valley in the context of a small, Biodynamic, permaculture-focused farm. - Wild Arc"

After a lifetime of experiences, Patrick Bouju settled in the Auvergne, releasing his first commercial vintage in 2002 and leaving his engineering job in 2008 to pursue winemaking full time.

Patrick's journey with wine began while he was a chemistry student in Clermont-Ferrand, where he discovered his aversion to classical wine due to his body's intolerance to sulfur. Inspired by low-intervention winemakers he met while in the military in Chalon-sur-Saône in 1994 and 1995, Patrick went on to study viticulture in Beaune.

After completing his studies, Patrick moved to the village of Glaine-Montaigut in the Auvergne, where he gradually started cultivating a small number of vines.

Club Pick 4

The hype is real with this wine! It is Frank's entry level red wine and is a lovely red from majority Nerello Mascalese alongside a blend of four other grapes. It can drink more like a heavy rose than a light red and we love to put a bit of a chill on it before popping it open. It's juicy with lots of red fruits, light tannin, some florals and popping acid. Not to be missed!

Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Boushet, Minella Nera, and Minella Bianco

Frank’s wines are like none we have ever tasted, and there is no doubt they have raised a stir throughout the industry. These wines express the absolutely unique land of Mt. Etna in a way that no other wine has. You really have to taste the wines and watch the color and flavor evolve in your glass to understand them.

Club Pick 5
