A Word From Our Founder

Hey you,
This month’s case is a whole journey — a dozen bottles from winemakers who skip shortcuts and pour their hearts into every drop.

Here’s the vibe:
🍷 Reds that go from chillable and bright to dark and brooding
🍊 Oranges with grip, spice, and a little wildness
💧 Whites that are salty, crisp, and mouthwatering
🌸 Rosés that are pure refreshment, still or lightly sparkling

It’s the kind of lineup you can get lost in — something new for every dinner, every night in, every “just one glass” that turns into two.

The best part? Every one of these bottles has a story worth telling — about the land, the hands that made it, and the way it makes you feel when you take that first sip.

Here’s to twelve new reasons to love what’s in your glass,
– Holly

Club Pick 1

100% biodynamically grown Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from, you guessed it, Abruzzo, Italy. Natural winemaking and maceration in stainless steel tanks make this an especially light and approachable variation, with juicy fruits and hints of forest floor. Great on it’s own, versatile for food pairings, and perfectly nuanced

Cherry, blackberry, Mediterranean herbs and forest floor. Light yet structured from fine tannins and a balanced acidity

Spanning 23 hectares, Agricola Cirelli's entire production ethos revolves around honoring the natural rhythms of olive trees, vineyards, horticultural crops, and animal husbandry. Their methods prioritize crop rotation, natural fertilization, and allowing animals to graze freely—a testament to their commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.

Club Pick 2

40-year-old Gamay vines undergo whole-cluster carbonic maceration in a mix of fiber and concrete tanks using native yeasts, to create a wine that is light, balanced, and beautifully authentic. Organically farming and created with minimal intervention, for intention behind every refreshing sip

Fried rice with kimchi, a watermelon and mint salad, and a sloopy joe on a potato bun

Delicate and layered, with smooth tannins and a light body that go perfectly with a chill. Crisp notes of red fruits, wild flowers, wet stones and herbs, concluded by a bright, salty finish

Clotaire Michal has wine in his veins. From his early days swirling glasses as a sommelier in top spots across France and the UK, to a five-year deep-dive under legendary winemakers like Christophe Peyrus and the iconic Thierry Allemand in the Rhône, Clotaire didn’t just learn winemaking — he lived it. In 2013, he and his wife Yuka (who officially joined the Domaine in 2018) took a leap of faith and built something rare: a soulful, old-vine haven in Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne, where pink granite and 100-year-old Gamay vines tell a story you can taste in every glass. No chemicals, no shortcuts, no trendy “glouglou” vibes here.

Club Pick 3

A chillable red made from Austrias two most iconic grapes. Fermented in stainless steel tanks for maximum purity and freshness, Zweigelt offers vibrant fruity flavors while Blaufrankisch delivers structure and acidity. Made to be served cold and sipped slowly on sunny afternoons

Sweet & spicy chicken wings, pasta salad with sundried tomatoes, and turkey with cranberry sauce

Red cherry, juicy raspberry, lightly mineral, and slightly spicy from Blaufrankisch. Fine tannins, a lively acidity, and a crisp finale

Christina Netzl's journey into natural winemaking began at the tender age of 5, tending to her family's farm and vineyard alongside her parents and grandparents. With time, her parents redirected the family business solely towards grape cultivation and winemaking, expanding it to encompass the 28 hectares they currently operate in the Carnuntum winemaking region, situated just east of Vienna and north of the Neusidler See. Christina pursued studies in oenology and wine management in London, immersing herself in diverse wine styles from around the globe. Upon her return to the winery in 2007, she collaborated with her parents, later fostering a fervent commitment to organic viticulture, particularly after becoming a mother of two.

Club Pick 4

A dynamic blend of equal parts Merlot, Spätburgunder (aka Pinot Noir), and Müller‑Thurgau from Rheinhessen, Germany. “Rötlich”, translating to “reddish” in English, is winemaker Andreas Mann’s signature blend. Red and white grapes undergo carbonic maceration, followed by a year in neutral oak barrels for a wine that is bright, balanced, and layered

Grilled chicken with pickled onions and tahini, mushroom bruschetta, or duck confit

Blackberry, dark plum, herbal tea and hints of vanilla. A light mouthfeel that is gently grounded by silky tannins and earthiness, concluded by a lingering finish

Club Pick 5

Minimal intervention Cabernet Franc aged in large, neutral barrels, for a wine that is balanced and silky on the palate. This red leans funky, showing Cab Franc's ability to be classically dark and spicy, or effortlessly fruity and earthy when made in a lighter style

Light-to-medium bodied, a well-integrated acidity, and notes of blackberry, smoked cedar, graphite, and forest herbs with silky, gentle tannins

Run by Gérald Vallée since 1997, Domaine de la Cotelleraie is a 26-hectare family estate devoted to Cabernet Franc in the heart of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Farming organically since 1999 (certified in 2012), Gérald works the vines by hand, focusing on living soils and balanced yields. In the cellar, fermentations are slow and natural, aging takes place in large oak foudres and barriques, and every decision is made to let the gravelly and limestone terroirs speak clearly. The result: fresh, precise, and vibrant Loire reds that combine immediate drinkability with real aging potential.

Club Pick 6

Ever had a wine that felt like putting on your favorite beat-up hoodie and getting deep with a friend you haven’t seen in years? That’s Majer 3. Eschewing modern additives aimed at altering or refining the taste of our wines, our focus remains steadfastly on purity and tradition. Early on, we delved into the production of orange wines, harnessing the nuanced flavors imbued by extended skin contact during fermentation. This exploration naturally led us to the ancient art of winemaking in Kvevri, traditional clay amphorae from Georgia. Anticipating the 2014 harvest, we reverently buried two Kvevris at our estate, embracing the timeless wisdom and earthy elegance they offer. - Slobodné Vinarstvo

Club Pick 7

A generous orange wine from one of Croatia’s most recognizable estates, with winemaking practices tracing back 500 years, and international praise for championing indigenous grape varieties. Undergoing weeks of skin contact and lees aging, this blend of Debit and other white grape varieties is textural and deep, with notes of dried citrus and savory layers

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of the picturesque village of Plastovo, BIBICh stands as a testament to generations of winemaking tradition. As a small family-owned winery, we pride ourselves on our rich history and unwavering dedication to crafting wines of exceptional quality.

Club Pick 8

Spending 2 months on skins, it is slightly bitter yet floral and usually a little juicy as well. It's also old vines in volcanic soil which add lovely complexity. Muscat is one of our favorite expressions of an orange wine and for the price, this one is one of the best you can get!

Manuel Moraga Gutierrez, seventh-generation owner and winemaker of Cacique Maravilla, honors his family's legacy in Yumbel's Bio-Bio Valley. Descended from Francisco Gutierrez Gutierrez, who earned the admiration of the Mapuche people as 'Cacique Maravilla', Manuel continues the tradition of crafting traditional, non-interventionist Chilean wines. With ancestral roots dating back to 1750 when Francisco arrived from the Canary Islands, Manuel's dedication to preserving the land and its heritage shines through in every bottle, carrying forward a narrative of reverence for the terroir and its cultural significance.

Club Pick 9

Domaine de la Combe’s fresh take on Melon de Bourgogne. The name “Nocturne”, chosen for grapes picked under the moonlight, goes against traditional Muscadet harvesting practices—but perfectly reflects the fresh aromatics and a lively energy that comes from this nighttime practice. Light, crisp, pure, and perfect for sunny Summer days

Some winemakers are born into it. Pierre-Henri Gadais? He’s basically wired for it. Growing up among the rolling hills of Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine, with vines in his backyard and cellars in his playground, Pierre-Henri inherited a family legacy steeped in Muscadet mastery—but he didn’t stop there. After globetrotting through Burgundy, Bordeaux, California, Australia, Switzerland, Pomerol, and Sancerre, soaking up every trick and trade secret, he returned home to do what he does best: take a historic vineyard and make it shine. Pierre-Henri’s approach? Organic, natural, patient, and a little playful. He follows the lunar cycle in the vineyard and cellar, trusts wild yeasts for spontaneous fermentations, and experiments with everything from skin contact to oak aging.
