Clos des Mourres

Clos des Mourres is run by Ingrid and Jean-Philippe Bouchet in Cairanne, France. They cultivate 5 hectares on the northwestern slopes of the Col du Débat, benefiting from natural drainage and Mistral winds, with clay-limestone soils at 200–280 meters altitude. Since 2012, they also work 10 hectares in Vaison la Romaine on sandy soils, producing wines with a distinct structure. All bottling follows the lunar calendar, reflecting their natural, attentive approach to viticulture.

Where The Wines Come From

Cairanne

Nestled in the southern Rhône, Cairanne is a sun-soaked, windswept region with clay-limestone soils and vineyards often perched on gentle slopes. Influenced by the Mistral, wines here are structured yet fresh, with vibrant red and black fruit, herbal notes, and a natural, approachable style that pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine.
