Club Pick 1

An enchanting orange wine crafted from equal parts Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris. This aromatic wine undergoes 15 days of skin contact with de-stemmed grapes, resulting in mellow, well-integrated tannins. The vibrant profile is marked by intense tropical and citrus notes, delivering a refreshing and exotic drinking experience.

Spicy dishes, grilled vegetables, and light seafood.

Tropical fruit, exotic notes, and bright citrus, with subtle tannins adding depth and structure.

Saint-So is a joint project with François Ducrot, the skilled winemaker known as the "magician of vinification" from Domaine Enclos de La Croix. A few years ago, Ducrot noticed that many talented local organic farmers in Aspiran, a region west of Montpellier, were selling their grapes to co-ops for bulk wine production. Seeing this wasted potential, François decided to purchase these grapes and create a negoce that would highlight the vibrant wines from this lesser-known terroir of Languedoc.

In August 2019, we proposed to Ducrot the idea of vinifying a 100% Cinsault, a rare varietal often used for rosé or blending but one of our favorites for its light and energetic character. Cinsault has thin skins and large berries compared to other varietals like Grenache.

Club Pick 2

A non-traditional orange wine blending 45% Pinot Blanc, 40% Pinot Gris, and 15% Gewürztraminer from three vintages (2019, 2020, and 2022). Crafted with minimal intervention, this biodynamic wine undergoes 6–7 days of skin contact, showcasing vibrant tropical fruit, tangerine, and a hint of dried green plum. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfites.

Asian food or other spicy, savory dishes.

Aromatic and light-bodied, with notes of tangerine, dried green plum, and honeycrisp apple.

Meinklang is a lively farm compromising the three typical fields of a Pannonian farmstead in East Austria south of capital town Vienna: wine-growing, fruits and agriculture. Each family-member is specialized in an aspect of farming. Unique is the estate owns Angus & Aubrac cattle herd. It`s the farms source for our own nutritious, organic fertilizer for lively soils in the vineyards and creates the closed circle in the biodynamic Demeter farming. Outstanding issues are the totally unpruned vines, called «graupert» and the extended maturation in concrete egg-shaped containers. As well as the family initiated the first holistic Demeter brewery where we refine the ancient grain beer out of the old varieties called Einkorn and Emmer wheat. - From Zev Rovine
