Club Pick 1

Michi’s Farm Orange by Michael Gindl is a vibrant natural wine with a beautiful amber color from three weeks of skin maceration. Fermented in stainless steel and used barrels, it’s aged on lees for added depth and complexity. With no added sulfur, it offers a pure expression of its grapes. Fresh, bright acidity, smooth tannins, and a rewarding finish make it a truly enjoyable wine.

A zero-zero Chenin Blanc from Johan “Stompie” Meyer, part of the cult-favorite Brutal! series — where nothing is added, and nothing is taken away. This 2022 release comes from 35-year-old, dry-farmed bush vines in the western Swartland. It sees 7 days of skin contact, spontaneous fermentation, and 14 months aging on gross lees in concrete. No filtering, no fining, and absolutely no sulfur. Raw, expressive, and wild — just as intended.

Club Pick 3

A wild take on one of Australia’s rarest old-vine grapes. El Doradillo is made from 86-year-old Doradillo vines in southern Barossa, originally planted for distillation. Yetti & the Kokonut turned this underdog grape into a full-skin-contact, textural bomb using a mix of whole-cluster, whole-berry, and pressed juice fermentations. Aged in stainless steel, bottled unfined and unfiltered, this is raw, expressive skin-contact winemaking at its weirdest and most wonderful.
