Fermented in stainless steel and used barrels, it’s aged on lees for added depth and complexity. With no added sulfur, it offers a pure expression of its grapes. Fresh, bright acidity, smooth tannins, and a rewarding finish make it a truly enjoyable wine.

The Producer

About Michael Gindl

Upon completing agricultural school in 2002, Michael Gindl, born in 1983, harbored a steadfast determination to oversee the farm that has been in his family since 1807. Traditionally, the farm practiced mixed agriculture encompassing crops, livestock, forestry, and viticulture. Following his grandfather's untimely passing, Michael's mother assumed farm management duties while his father pursued a career as a food inspector. During his schooling, Michael took on the responsibility of vinification.

Concurrently, Michael embarked on a journey toward embracing biodynamic methods, leading to the farm's eventual certification as biodynamic. Since 2012, Highland cattle have been bred on the property, while horses are employed in the vineyards and wheat fields.
