A Word From Our Founder

Hi friends,

This month’s 6 Bottle Club brings together a varied lineup of expressive wines from independent producers, with a mix of reds and whites to carry you from late summer into the start of fall.

From the juicy Plano Red and Saumur Champigny Rouge to the vibrant Ink Burgenland Red, this month’s reds offer plenty of character and easy-drinking appeal. On the white side, Bambara da Casa White, Sans Soucis Chardonnay, and Zan Slovenia White bring a range of fresh, textured, and expressive styles to the collection.

Whether you’re opening a bottle with dinner, sharing with friends, or enjoying a quiet glass at home, we hope this month’s selection gives you plenty to explore and enjoy.

As always, thank you for supporting independent producers and being part of the MYSA community.

Cheers,

Holly

Kairos Vina is a small family winery in Plano, near Trogir in Dalmatia. The estate focuses on indigenous Croatian varieties, particularly Crljenak, and works to express the rocky, Mediterranean character of the region. Their vineyards are organically farmed, with a focus on low-intervention winemaking and native grapes.

Club Pick 2

A Chardonnay from organically farmed Languedoc vineyards on clay-limestone soils, with grapes sourced from organic growers. The fruit is directly pressed and cold settled for two days before spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel. After alcoholic fermentation, sulfur is added to prevent malolactic fermentation. Aged for three months in stainless steel and lightly filtered before bottling.

Grilled fish, oysters, roast chicken, seafood pasta, fresh goat cheese

Citrus, green apple, white peach, fresh herbs, subtle minerality, bright acidity, clean finish

Middle of the Road

Region: Languedoc,

With 15 hectares of organically farmed vineyards (yes, that’s right — zero shortcuts, just sunshine, soil, and a lot of care), they bottle up the purest expression of the Languedoc spirit. This isn’t just a family-run estate — it’s a full-blown labor of love, turning out around 250,000 bottles a year, split between their Domaine line (the heart and soul) and their négociant wines (their creative, free-spirited side hustle).

What you’ll taste? Sunshine. Effort. Joy. Maybe even a little rebellion. These wines are for people who like their stories real, their land respected, and their glasses never empty.

From our friends in Nizas, with love — and a lot of really, really good wine.

Club Pick 3

An organically and biodynamically farmed white from Keltis, made from a diverse blend of native and international varieties grown on clay and limestone soils. The 14 to 35-year-old vines are hand harvested, with each variety separately macerated before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. Aged in stainless steel, the wine is unfined, unfiltered, and bottled without added sulfur.

Grilled trout, roast chicken, vegetable dishes, fresh goat cheese, Slovenian-style sausages

White flowers, citrus, stone fruit, fresh herbs, mineral notes, bright acidity, gentle tannin, dry finish

Varietal:

Rumeni Plavec, Muscat, Traminec, Žametna Črnina, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Kraljevina

ABV:

  • 11.5%

Funky Scale:

Region: Bizeljsko, Slovenia

Keltis wines epitomize the artisanal approach both in the vineyard and the cellar, showcasing their terroir and containing minimal sulfites. Many of our wines remain unfiltered, allowing them to retain their life and potential for further development. The marl, the primary rock of our terroir, imparts minerality to our wines, particularly noticeable in the macerated varieties. Following our philosophy, we work with the wines during the full moon when they are at their peak, enabling them to fully express their potential. Since we only observe their natural development without artificial interference, each vintage is released to the market when it is ready, allowing each to display its unique character in its own time.

Club Pick 4

A 100% Cabernet Franc from organically farmed, 28-year-old vines in Saumur-Champigny. The vineyards sit at 60 to 80m on deep clay-limestone soils, green sands, and chalky tuffeau. Hand harvested and fully destemmed, the grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, with separate 5-day and 15-day macerations. Aged for seven months in stainless steel, with a low dose of sulfur added before bottling.

Roast chicken, grilled pork, sausages, mushroom dishes, goat cheese

Red berries, black cherry, fresh herbs, earthy minerality, bright acidity, fine tannins, savory finish

Varietal:

Cabernet Franc

Vintage:

  • 2024

ABV:

  • 12.5%

Funky Scale:

Region: Loire Valley, France

Caroline and Hervé Maligne founded Domaine des Sables Verts in 2018 after purchasing a 16-hectare estate in Varrains, in the heart of Saumur-Champigny. The domaine is planted primarily to Cabernet Franc, with a small amount of Chenin Blanc, across 33 parcels.

They farm organically and hand-harvest all grapes, with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Winemaking is minimal-intervention, with little to no additives beyond a small amount of sulfur before bottling. Their wines focus on freshness, terroir, and purity.

Club Pick 5

Named Ink for its deep, dark color, Judith Beck crafts us a red that is as bold as it is easy to enjoy. Blackberry and dark cherry, earthiness, spices, and a hint of cocoa. A well balanced red wine that’s just as perfect for a cozy night in as it is for a dinner party out with friends

Creamy, wild mushroom pastas, barbecued ribs, meatballs with tomato sauce and cured meats and cheeses on crackers

A core of juicy blackberries and dark cherries, complemented by hints of earth, cracked black pepper, and a touch of cocoa. Rich, silky tannins give this wine strength and a medium body keeps it fresh

Varietal:

Zweigelt and SanktLaurent

  • 2023

  • 12%

Judith Beck doesn’t just make wine—she lets nature do its thing and guides it along with a gentle hand. Nestled in Burgenland, Austria, her vineyards are wild, alive, and thriving under biodynamic farming. No chemicals, no shortcuts—just pure, soulful wines that reflect the land and the love poured into them. She works with Austria’s coolest native grapes—Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Zweigelt—letting them shine in their own way. The result? Wines that are fresh, vibrant, and full of personality, just like Judith herself. Every bottle feels like a warm invitation to slow down, sip, and savor the moment.

Club Pick 6

A fresh, low-intervention Sicilian white made from organically farmed Catarratto grown on sandy, limestone, and marine-deposit soils at 250m elevation. The 30-year-old vines are hand harvested and direct pressed, then fermented and aged for nine months on the lees in cement tanks. Unfined and unfiltered, with just 3g of added sulfur at bottling, it offers a pure expression of fruit and Sicilian terroir.

Grilled fish, seafood pasta, fried calamari, caponata, fresh cheeses

Citrus, ripe orchard fruit, saline minerality, fresh herbs, subtle lees character, bright acidity, dry finish

Luca Bambara, a Québécois with Sicilian roots, returned to Sicily to craft wines that express the island’s indigenous grapes and diverse terroirs. He works with small-scale growers across Sicily, sourcing organically farmed, hand-harvested grapes.

His wines are made with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfites, focusing on purity, freshness, and an authentic expression of Sicily. The Bambara da Casa range pays homage to Sicily’s traditional vino da casa, with approachable, vibrant wines made for sharing.
