A Word From Our Founder

Hey there,
This month’s lineup is a little bit of everything — and all of it good. You’ve got reds that range from fresh and lifted to deep and moody, a crisp mineral white, a textured orange, and a rosé that goes down way too easy.

Every bottle comes from a small producer who does it the slow way — hand-picked fruit, no unnecessary stuff, just real wine with a point of view.
Think of this box as your August playlist:
🎶 Something bright to kick things off
🎶 A track that hits deeper halfway through
🎶 A couple of unexpected surprises that end up as favorites

Each bottle comes from a producer who works with intention — farming responsibly, letting the fruit speak, and keeping intervention low so what’s in your glass feels real and unfiltered.

Thanks for being part of the journey — we can’t wait to hear which one you open first.

With love and good wine,
– Holly

Club Pick 1

100% biodynamically grown Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from, you guessed it, Abruzzo, Italy. Natural winemaking and maceration in stainless steel tanks make this an especially light and approachable variation, with juicy fruits and hints of forest floor. Great on it’s own, versatile for food pairings, and perfectly nuanced

Spanning 23 hectares, Agricola Cirelli's entire production ethos revolves around honoring the natural rhythms of olive trees, vineyards, horticultural crops, and animal husbandry. Their methods prioritize crop rotation, natural fertilization, and allowing animals to graze freely—a testament to their commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.

Club Pick 2

40-year-old Gamay vines undergo whole-cluster carbonic maceration in a mix of fiber and concrete tanks using native yeasts, to create a wine that is light, balanced, and beautifully authentic. Organically farming and created with minimal intervention, for intention behind every refreshing sip

Fried rice with kimchi, a watermelon and mint salad, and a sloopy joe on a potato bun

Delicate and layered, with smooth tannins and a light body that go perfectly with a chill. Crisp notes of red fruits, wild flowers, wet stones and herbs, concluded by a bright, salty finish

Clotaire Michal has wine in his veins. From his early days swirling glasses as a sommelier in top spots across France and the UK, to a five-year deep-dive under legendary winemakers like Christophe Peyrus and the iconic Thierry Allemand in the Rhône, Clotaire didn’t just learn winemaking — he lived it. In 2013, he and his wife Yuka (who officially joined the Domaine in 2018) took a leap of faith and built something rare: a soulful, old-vine haven in Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne, where pink granite and 100-year-old Gamay vines tell a story you can taste in every glass. No chemicals, no shortcuts, no trendy “glouglou” vibes here.

Club Pick 3

A blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo, and Graciano, crafted in a new Rioja style. Leaning away from the use of oak, this wine is fermented on its lees in stainless steel tanks, creating freshness, juicy fruit flavors, and a subtle savory edge. It's Rioja in its most lively, approachable form

The wines themselves? Think bold, honest, and endlessly drinkable.Perfect for backyard chats, dinner with friends, or just savoring a quiet moment. And the best part? Every sip carries a little gratitude for the land, the people, and the shared joy of wine.

With 15 hectares of organically farmed vineyards (yes, that’s right — zero shortcuts, just sunshine, soil, and a lot of care), they bottle up the purest expression of the Languedoc spirit. This isn’t just a family-run estate — it’s a full-blown labor of love, turning out around 250,000 bottles a year, split between their Domaine line (the heart and soul) and their négociant wines (their creative, free-spirited side hustle).

What you’ll taste? Sunshine. Effort. Joy. Maybe even a little rebellion. These wines are for people who like their stories real, their land respected, and their glasses never empty.

From our friends in Nizas, with love — and a lot of really, really good wine.
