A Word From Our Founder

Hi friends,

March in the 3 bottle club is all about balance and approachability. This month’s selection brings together a small but thoughtful mix of wines that show different sides of freshness, texture, and easy drinkability.

The lineup moves between bright whites and expressive reds, creating a simple rhythm that works across a variety of occasions. Some wines feel crisp and lively, offering refreshing energy in the glass, while others bring a little more fruit and softness that unfold comfortably alongside food.

These are bottles meant for everyday enjoyment. They fit naturally into weeknight dinners, relaxed gatherings, or quiet evenings when you want something satisfying without needing to overthink it. Each wine offers its own personality while still feeling easy to open and share.

As always, the wines come from growers who focus on thoughtful farming and careful winemaking. Their approach keeps the wines honest and expressive, allowing the character of the grapes and the places they come from to show clearly.

Thank you for being part of the club and for continuing to explore these wines with us.

Here’s to simple pleasures, good company, and many enjoyable glasses this month.

Cheers,
Holly

"Clovis Wines is the result of a partnership between T Edward and select top-tier small producers in France. Clovis CDR is crafted by Remi Pouizin, a biodynamic vintner based in Visan, the northernmost region of the Southern Rhône. This blend combines grapes from Pouizin's estate with those of three other organic producers, all situated within a 10km radius of the winery. These vineyard parcels span elevations between 200 and 350 meters." - T Edward

Club Pick 2

A Bandol-inspired rosé made from organically farmed Mourvèdre grown in the Paeroa Vineyard overlooking the ocean in McLaren Vale. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed and ferment naturally in a concrete egg before aging on lees for five months. Bottled without fining or filtration, the wine shows bright fruit, texture, and mineral clarity.

Region: McLaren Vale, Australia

Poppelvej is the project of Danish brothers Jens and Uffe Deichmann. The name means “street of poplars,” referencing the street where they grew up in Denmark, and the original hand-painted sign from their great-great-grandfather now hangs in the winery.

Uffe moved to South Australia for a harvest and ended up staying after meeting his future wife, Nicole. The couple eventually settled in McLaren Vale, where Poppelvej was founded in 2016.

The wines are made from sustainably farmed vineyards in McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills. Fermentations are low intervention with minimal additions, and the wines are typically bottled without fining or filtration. Production is small, around 4,000 cases annually, and the wines reflect both the creativity of their makers and the character of the region.

Club Pick 3

A textured Sauvignon Blanc sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards in the Polkadraai Hills of Stellenbosch. The grapes receive a short period of skin contact before pressing and ferment in stainless steel using native and house-cultured yeasts. Aged for four months on lees, the wine shows both freshness and subtle complexity while highlighting the granitic soils of the region.

Founded in 1995 in the Polkadraai Hills of Stellenbosch, Boschkloof is a family estate led by second-generation winemaker Reenen Borman. Drawing on his Rhône Valley experience, Reenen crafts elegant, site-driven wines using sustainable farming and minimal-intervention methods. The estate is best known for its acclaimed Syrah “Epilogue,” the first South African red to earn 98 points from an international critic.
