About Zorzal

Zorzal, established in 2007 by the Michelini brothers - Gerardo, Matias, and Juan Pablo (the winemaker) - along with a consortium of Canadian investors, embarked on its winemaking journey with the inaugural vintage in 2008. Situated in the Gualtallary subregion of the Uco Valley, outside Tupungato, the winery and vineyards perch at a lofty altitude of approximately 4,500 feet, earning the distinction of being Mendoza's highest winery. Spanning 70 hectares, the estate boasts a diverse soil composition of sand, stones, and limestone, hosting a variety of grapes including Malbec, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, among others.
