Macerated for just a few hours, a small amount of Verdejo must is added for freshness and finesse. The color of this wine is gorgeous! It is fresh and dynamic on the palate with grapefruit and citrus, strawberry puree with a slight nuttiness. Richly textured, this rosé wine drinks like a spritzy sour beer. It is a lot of fun!

About MicroBio

Welcome to the República Independiente del Verdejo, led by President Ismael Gozalo. Ismael is renowned for his tenure at Ossian, a respected winery in Rueda, where he served as the winegrower and maker since its establishment in 2004. His family possesses some of the oldest ungrafted pre-phylloxera vines, aged between 100 to 200 years, primarily located in Nieva, Segovia province, at altitudes ranging from 800 to 900 meters. These head-trained vines, thriving in sandy soils, have been meticulously tended by generations without any chemical intervention. Despite being outside the D.O. due to their steadfast commitment to traditional methods, Ossian remains one of the few organic producers in Rueda.
