A vibrant co-fermented rosé that blends white and red grapes into a fresh, textured expression of the Shenandoah Valley. Fermented with a low intervention approach and allowed to complete malolactic fermentation, the wine develops added depth while retaining bright acidity and lively energy. Juicy fruit, savory herbs, and a silky texture make this a refreshing bottle with plenty of character.

About Lightwell Survey

Founded in 2015 by winemaker Ben Jordan and restaurateur Sebastian Zutant, Lightwell Survey is a small Virginia winery exploring the evolving character of Shenandoah Valley fruit through low-intervention winemaking. The team sources grapes from higher-elevation vineyards across northwest Virginia, fermenting with native yeasts and using little to no added sulfur, fining, or filtration whenever possible. Their wines embrace experimentation while remaining rooted in place, offering fresh expressions of Virginia's diverse vineyards and grape varieties.

About the Region

Virginia, United States

Virginia's varied climate and diverse soils produce wines with freshness, balance, and a strong sense of place. Warm days encourage ripe fruit, while cool evenings help preserve natural acidity, allowing both classic and lesser-known grape varieties to thrive. A growing community of small producers continues to shape the region with thoughtful farming, minimal intervention, and an adventurous approach to winemaking.
