About La Zerba

Founded by Livio Lorenzi in 1973, La Zerba embodies a multigenerational passion for agriculture, now overseen by Livio's daughter Grazia, her husband Andrea, and their son Luigi. Situated in Alto Monferrato within Tassarolo, Gavi, the estate's 12 hectares are organically farmed in the Ligurian Apennines-Piemontese hills. The name "La Zerba" signifies its uncultivated surroundings, reflecting a profound respect for nature. With minimal intervention and CO2 additions, their natural and traditional winemaking yields highly expressive Cortese wines that authentically showcase their terroir.
