A unique, dry skin-contact white wine made from the indigenous Škrlet grape. Grown on a south-facing, sandy loam vineyard in Moslavina, this wine combines tradition with modern techniques. A portion of the grapes undergoes skin maceration for two weeks, resulting in a golden bronze color and a rich, textured profile. Naturally fermented and aged in inox tanks, it embodies a balance of freshness and complexity.

Baked apple, honey blossom, and clove on the nose, with flavors of peach, marmalade, and crystallized ginger, balanced by bright acidity.

The Producer

About Kosovec

Ivan Kosovec is a winemaker from Popovača in Croatia’s Moslavina region. He and his family own 3 hectares of vineyards, focusing on the indigenous Škrlet grape, along with Chardonnay, Zweigelt, Frankovka, and Pinot Noir. Ivan practices organic viticulture, using minimal copper and sulfur, and no synthetic chemicals or fertilizers. In the cellar, he follows a non-interventionist approach, fermenting with indigenous yeasts and avoiding additives like enzymes or fining agents. His wines reflect the terroir and his commitment to purity, with minimal sulfites added. Ivan’s philosophy, rooted in organic principles, has been unchanged since his first great vintage in 2011.
