A youthful blend of Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, and Gamay with flavors of juicy red fruits, petite flowers, and a hint of black pepper. A star-bright acidity cuts through rich, fatty food, while the fruit-forward notes complement sweetness and spice, making this a go-to glass at most any meal

Ripe red berries lead alongside notes of small flowers, fresh herbs, and crushed black pepper. Mouthwateringly vibrant, refreshing, and light!

About Jennifer Bariou & Thibaut Bodet

Winemakers Jennifer Bariou and Thibaut Bodet bring a wealth of experience from working in wineries across the globe before settling in Azay-le-Rideau, a dynamic appellation in the central Loire Valley. Their passion for natural winemaking and deep respect for the land have driven them to cultivate 9 hectares of organic vineyards, expanding from their initial 2.5 hectares in 2015.

Their vineyards, spread across diverse terroirs with clay, flint, and quartz soils, are farmed using biodynamic principles. They embrace biodiversity, grazing sheep among the vines and planting fruit trees—peaches, pears, almonds, and cherries—throughout the estate. In the cellar, they work with native yeasts and minimal intervention, allowing their wines to authentically express the land.

About the Region

Loire Valley, France

The Loire Valley, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and historic chateaux, is also a prominent region for natural wine production. Nestled along the meandering Loire River, this diverse wine region boasts a rich viticultural heritage dating back centuries. In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in natural winemaking, with many producers embracing sustainable and organic practices. In the Loire Valley, natural winemakers often focus on expressing the unique terroir of their vineyards, allowing the grapes to shine with minimal intervention. From the crisp, mineral-driven whites of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé to the elegant, light-bodied reds of Chinon and Bourgueil, the diversity of grape varieties and styles in the region is reflected in its natural wines. These wines typically exhibit vibrant acidity, bright fruit flavors, and a sense of purity that captures the essence of the Loire Valley's cool climate and limestone-rich soils. With its commitment to authenticity and respect for nature, the Loire Valley continues to be a beacon for those seeking distinctive and environmentally conscious wines.
