An alpine white from Jean-Yves Péron, made from Jacquère grown on limestone-rich slopes in Savoie and farmed with a low-intervention approach. Hand-harvested grapes see a short skin contact before fermenting with native yeasts in neutral vessels, followed by aging without fining or filtration and little to no added sulfur. The wine is light in body but carries a gentle grip and mineral edge, showing a raw, expressive style shaped by both altitude and minimal cellar work.

Lemon peel, green apple, white peach, dried herbs, wet stone, light tannin, savory finish

About Jean-Yves Peron

Jean-Yves Péron is one of the leading voices of natural wine in the French Alps. Based in the village of Cévin in Savoie, he works tiny, steep mountain parcels surrounded by forest and dramatic alpine slopes.

After time working in Burgundy and with natural wine pioneer Thierry Allemand in Cornas, Jean-Yves returned to Savoie to revive old vineyards and forgotten varieties. Farming is organic and meticulous, often on near impossible inclines. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous, sulfur use is minimal or none, and wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
