A lively and charming white cuvĂ©e from 35-year-old vines of GrĂŒner Veltliner and Welschriesling grown on gravel and limestone soils. Hand-harvested and fermented spontaneously in large used oak barrels, Theodora undergoes a 9-month elevage without batonnage and is bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulfur. Cheerful, elegant, and a bit mischievous, Theodora captures hearts with her vibrant personality and steady reliability—a true standout in the Gut Oggau family.

About Gut Oggau

Gut Oggau, nestled in Oggau, Austria, emerged from the vision of Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe in 2007. With Eduard's background in conventional winemaking and Stephanie's heritage rooted in the Michelin-starred restaurant Taubenkobel, they embarked on a journey to restore a 17th-century winery abandoned for two decades. The fortuitous neglect of the vines allowed for a seamless transition to biodynamic practices upon their revival, leading to full Demeter certification. Each wine's vibrant personality inspired the creation of a familial lineup, with names and labels representing different family members, thanks to artist Jung von Matt. From the lively children to the robust parents and wise grandparents, each bottle tells a tale of terroir and tradition.
