The Producer

About Domaine Taillandier

Benjamin Taillandier, a visionary winemaker, embarked on his journey with a commitment to crafting wines that embody a unique philosophy. After completing winemaking school, Benjamin gained experience in a conventional winery before meeting natural winemaker Jean-Baptiste Senat in 2004. Inspired by Senat's innovative ideas and techniques, Benjamin pursued a similar winemaking philosophy.

In 2007, Benjamin returned to his family's hometown of Caunes-Minervois, located between Carcassonne and the Montagne Noire. He acquired 5.7 hectares of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, and Terret Gris, initially farming organically and later transitioning to biodynamics.

About the Region

Languedoc-Roussillon, France

In the sun-kissed vineyards of Languedoc-Roussillon, the natural wine movement thrives, intertwining tradition with innovation in every sip. Embracing organic and biodynamic practices, winemakers here eschew additives and interventions, allowing the terroir to speak authentically through each bottle. These wines, marked by their purity and vitality, reflect not only the region's ancient winemaking heritage but also its commitment to sustainability and respect for the land. In Languedoc-Roussillon, natural wine isn't just a trend; it's a way of life, encapsulating the essence of the land and the passion of its people in every pour.
