A Jura white built around the contrast of Savagnin and Chardonnay. The wine shows a lightly oxidative edge, adding savory depth and a nutty tone without losing freshness. Textured and layered, with citrus, orchard fruit, mineral tension, and a clean, lingering finish.

About Domaine des Notes Bleues

Founded by Arbois native Cédric Mottet, Domaine des Notes Bleues is a small organic estate in the Jura dedicated to site-specific wines from traditional regional varieties. After training with leading Jura producers including Stéphane Tissot, Domaine du Pélican, Domaine de la Touraize, and Domaine de la Renardière, Cédric established the domaine in 2017. Today, he farms 6.5 hectares across Arbois and Mesnay, producing small quantities of Chardonnay, Savagnin, and local red varieties that reflect the individuality of each vineyard. Inspired by both jazz and Jura's winemaking traditions, Cédric combines thoughtful organic farming with minimal intervention, aging reds primarily in stainless steel and whites in used oak to preserve freshness, precision, and a clear sense of place.

About the Region

Jura, France
