Mondeuse cru St-Jean-de-la-Porte "La Mort" 2018

Domaine de Chevillard is a 10-hectare estate in Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny, in Savoie’s Combe de Savoie. Founded by Matthieu Goury in 2015, the domaine released its first vintage in 2016. Goury comes from a family of farmers and wine growers and gained winemaking experience in Australia, Canada, and the Rhône Valley before returning to Savoie.

The domaine farms organically with biodynamic principles, focusing on healthy fruit, low yields, and extensive manual vineyard work. All grapes are hand harvested. In the cellar, whites are gently pressed and fermented in used oak, while reds are destemmed and macerated whole berry in concrete tanks. The wines receive minimal sulfur and, since 2020, age for at least 24 months in used oak before bottling.
