About Domaine Beatrice & Pascal Lambert

This winery, established in 1987 near Chinon, specifically at Les Chesnaies, spans approximately 13 hectares where Beatrice and Pascal carefully tend to Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc grapes. The diverse soils, ranging from sand and gravel to limestone-clay and flint-based clay, contribute to the unique terroir. Embracing organic and biodynamic practices since 2005 and certified in 2012, they utilize a draft horse named Isis to plow between vines and sow cover crops, enhancing soil health and nutrient levels. They synchronize their viticultural and winemaking processes with the lunar cycle, fermenting with indigenous yeasts in concrete or wooden vats and adapting maturation and aging methods to each terroir.
