Blaufränkisch grapes from 65-year-old, organically farmed vines grown on schist and limestone soils, lending a distinctive mineral backbone to the wine. Five weeks of skin maceration, followed by two years of aging in neutral barrels, build a refined structure without heavy oak influence, allowing juicy flavors to run the show.

Black cherry, wild blackberry, subtle violet, white pepper, and earthy herbs. Silky and structured with fine tannins, and a long, complex finish that is both mineral, savory, and slightly spicy.
