A fresh, traditionally made red from Château Coujan, a fifth-generation family estate near Saint-Chinian that has been farmed organically since 2008. The grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, then fermented at low temperature for about eight days. Bottled lightly filtered with a small addition of sulfur, it offers an approachable expression of Syrah, Grenache, and Pinot Noir from clay and limestone soils.

About Chateau Coujan

In 2008, Florence, the fifth generation of winemakers, assumed control of Chateau Coujan from her father. Under her stewardship, the winery underwent a transformation to embrace organic practices, evolving into a sanctuary of biodiversity. Alongside her boyfriend, who serves as the chef de cave, and her daughter, Florence leads the management of the estate, supported by a dedicated team.
