This two-bottle collection explores Plavac Mali through two distinct expressions from Bura-Mrgudić, a benchmark family producer on Croatia’s Pelješac Peninsula.
The Bura and Mrgudić families have cultivated vineyards along the Dalmatian coast for generations, with ties to the land dating back to 1627. The modern estate emerged following Croatian independence, when Niko Bura and Mare Mrgudić began bottling wines under the family name and helped introduce handcrafted Croatian wine to a wider audience.
Today, Boris and Antonija Mrgudić continue that work through organic farming, hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, and minimal intervention in the cellar. Together, these two wines offer a focused introduction to Plavac Mali and the sun-soaked limestone terroir of southern Croatia.
