Hailing from Tenerife in the Canary Islands, this 100% Listán Blanco showcases a unique terroir alongside flavors of tart grapefruit, lemon curd, and green apple peel. Tenerife's volcanic soils impart a distinctive smoky and saline quality to its wines, making them truly one-of-a-kind. Drinking this wine is comparable to reading a mystery novel–a new discovery at every sip

Grapefruit, juiced lemons, lemon curd, green apple, and subtle notes of smoke among somewhat of a fatty character. A medium and textured body, vibrant acidity, and saline on the finish that is reminiscent of standing by the seaside

About the Region

Canary Islands, Spain

In the remote and rugged landscapes of the Canary Islands, natural winemaking is both an art and a way of life. These volcanic islands off the coast of northwestern Africa boast a viticultural heritage as ancient as it is unique. Here, amid the volcanic soils and Atlantic breezes, winemakers practice organic and biodynamic farming methods with a deep respect for the land. Indigenous grape varieties such as Listán Negro, Listán Blanco, and Malvasía thrive in this harsh yet fertile terrain, producing grapes of exceptional quality and character. In the cellar, minimal intervention is the guiding principle, as winemakers allow spontaneous fermentations and aging in neutral vessels to reveal the true essence of the grapes and their terroir. The resulting natural wines from the Canary Islands are a testament to the islanders' ingenuity and resilience, offering a taste of the volcanic soils and oceanic influences that shape these captivating wines.
