Producer Profile

Good Intentions Wine Co

Andrew and Louise, a husband and wife duo, returned to Mount Gambier to cultivate both a family and a wine label, blending their expertise in organic farming and permaculture. With a vision to foster community and raise their daughter Frankie amidst a sustainable ethos, they lease and cultivate vineyards on the south side of Australia's youthful volcano. Water sourced from ancient limestone caves imbues their terroir with minerality, while a cool climate ensures optimal growing conditions for their unique wines. Embracing minimal intervention, they handpick their fruit, ferment with indigenous yeast, and bottle on-site without filtration or fining, aiming to create wines that authentically reflect their personalities and sense of place.
