A Word From Our Founder

Hey there,

Inside, you’ll find:
🍷 Reds that are bold, layered, and full of character
🌿 Whites that are bright, textured, and impossible to put down
🔥 A few unexpected sips that keep things interesting

Six bottles. Endless moments. Pour, taste, and enjoy the journey.

With warmth (and a full glass),
— Holly

A bold yet beautifully balanced natural Cabernet from the heart of Chile’s Maipo Valley. Crafted from hand-picked grapes and fermented with wild native yeasts, this wine captures the pure expression of its high-altitude terroir. Expect aromas of ripe blackcurrant, plum, and subtle herbal spice, layered with gentle tannins and a fresh mineral lift.

Unfiltered, unhurried, and made with minimal intervention, this Reserva embodies the elegance and vitality of natural Chilean reds—structured enough for aging, yet vibrant and ready to enjoy now.

Club Pick 3

The wine is fermented with native yeast, aged in a mix of stainless steel and neutral oak, and bottled with minimal intervention. It’s a fresh, expressive take on Rhône varieties, shaped by the region’s rugged terrain and cooling coastal influence.

Club Pick 4

From 62-year-old dry-farmed bush vines in the foothills of South Africa’s Piketberg Mountain, Keep on Punching is Testalonga’s fresh yet layered take on Chenin Blanc. Fermented with native yeast in old oak and stainless steel, this wine is made with minimal intervention and maximum personality. Light on its feet but with real depth, it’s a go-to bottle for everyday drinking that punches well above its weight.

Craig & Carla Hawkins are the proud owners of TESTALONGA, a venture that took root in 2008 with the inception of their inaugural wine, a Skin Macerated Chenin Blanc. Operating from rented 11 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards nestled within the granite soils of the Paardeberg, along with an additional 4 hectares situated on the Sandstone soils of the Piketberg, TESTALONGA remains deeply rooted in its commitment to natural winemaking practices. In 2015, the acquisition of Bandits Kloof farm in the slate-rich northern mountains of the Swartland marked a significant milestone. Here, the couple embarked on a new journey, focusing on cultivating Mediterranean grape varieties, with the first vineyards planted in 2018.

Club Pick 5

A skin-contact Chenin Blanc from one of South Africa’s most exciting winemakers, Reenen Borman. Kottabos is a small side project focused on experimental, site-driven wines, and this release comes entirely from the Karibib Vineyard in the Polkadraai Hills. Whole-bunch fermented with 4–5 days of skin contact, then aged in old French puncheon for 11 months. The result is a textured, clean, and lifted Chenin with subtle grip and energy to spare.

Tagine with apricots, grilled halloumi, roasted root vegetables, miso-glazed cod, aged Manchego.

Golden citrus, hay, honey, chamomile, and pickled ginger. Silky texture with light tannin and bright acidity. A clean finish with mineral edge and spice.

Drawing on his Rhône Valley experience, Reenen crafts elegant, site-driven wines using sustainable farming and minimal-intervention methods. The estate is best known for its acclaimed Syrah “Epilogue,” the first South African red to earn 98 points from an international critic.

Club Pick 6

A zippy, dry white blend of Riesling and Pinot Gris from high-elevation vines in Victoria’s King Valley. Inspired by Alsatian field blends but made with Aussie attitude, Pan Opticon is all about brightness, texture, and drinkability. No skin contact, no frills — just a cold, clean ferment in stainless steel and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Wild, fresh, and made for the curious.

"We were frustrated by the high prices of interesting wines—the ones we wanted to drink but couldn’t afford on our modest incomes. So, we decided to create wines with minimal intervention and maximum care—wines you could enjoy with a bowl of spaghetti on a Wednesday night without breaking the bank. Thus, the Konpira Maru mission was born: make mid-week wines great again. Our aim is to produce wines full of character, focusing on affordability and high drinkability. Wines that are so reasonably priced that you don’t feel the need to discuss them throughout the meal—you can simply enjoy the company you're with and maybe even open another bottle!”— Konpira Maru Wine Company
