A Word From Our Founder

Hi friends,

Happy November! I’m thrilled to share this month’s 6 Bottle Club with you. This time of year feels especially cozy, and putting together a balanced little lineup like this one always gets me excited for all the good food, good company, and good wine moments ahead.

To our returning members, thank you so much for being here with us. Your support and passion for natural wine keep MYSA going, and we’re incredibly grateful for you. And to our new members joining the 6 Bottle Club, welcome! You’re in for a fun mix this month that really shows off what natural wine can be.

This selection brings together a playful range of styles: some bright and energetic reds, a couple of beautifully expressive whites, and a bottle with a little sparkle to keep things festive. It’s the kind of lineup that gives you options for cozy nights in, shared meals, or even something special to bring along to your Thanksgiving celebrations. Every bottle has its own personality, and we hope you enjoy exploring each one.

This went through carbonic if you can't guess from the name! Making it very juicy with lovely tart cherries and red fruit, great summer red!

Region: Abruzzo, Italy

Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani, childhood friends from Abruzzo who lost touch after university, reunited with a shared passion for wine. Together, they embarked on a winemaking journey fueled by a deep appreciation for natural methods and bold experimentation. Unlike many, they eschewed formal wine education, agronomists, and oenologists, opting instead to learn through hands-on experience in vineyards and cellars. Their inaugural fermentation in 2010 was plagued by mishaps, prompting them to seek the intervention of an expert grandmother, known for her skill in dispelling the evil eye, to perform a ritual over their grapes. Miraculously, it proved successful, giving rise to Lammidia ("evil eye" in Abruzzese dialect), their venture into winemaking. - From Cream Wine

Rackham is a bright, energetic red named after the notorious pirate Rackham le Rouge—a nod to both the wine’s bold personality and its deep ruby hue. Crafted by Laurent Cazottes, a master distiller-turned-natural winemaker, this cuvée blends native grapes from biodynamically farmed vineyards in the Tarn. Fermented with native yeasts and aged without any additives, Rackham is juicy, untamed, and seriously drinkable.

Stranpoti is Burja Estate’s homage to the Vipava Valley’s tradition of extended skin contact and native varieties. Made from 100% Malvasia grown on flysch soils and farmed biodynamically, the wine is fermented with native yeasts and handled with minimal intervention. Primož Lavrenčič focuses on expressing the texture and natural energy of the site, yielding a wine that is both soulful and structured.
