A Word From Our Founder

Hi friends,

Happy November! I’m so excited to share this month’s 3 Bottle Club with you. There’s something about this time of year that makes opening a really good bottle feel even more special, and I think this little trio is going to be such a fun one to explore.

To our returning members, thank you for being part of our MYSA family. Your support and enthusiasm for natural wine mean so much to us. And to our new members just joining the 3 Bottle Club, welcome! We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait for you to dive into this month’s selection.

This set brings together a playful mix of styles: one bottle that’s bright and uplifting, one that leans a little deeper and cozier, and one with that unmistakable texture and personality we love from skin-contact wines. It’s a small collection with a lot of character, perfect for fall evenings, relaxed dinners, or even a thoughtful wine to share at a Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving gathering.

Thank you for supporting small winemakers and for choosing to explore natural wine with us each month. We hope these three bottles bring you warmth, joy, and a few delicious moments throughout November.

Cheers to a cozy month ahead!

Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani, childhood friends from Abruzzo who lost touch after university, reunited with a shared passion for wine. Together, they embarked on a winemaking journey fueled by a deep appreciation for natural methods and bold experimentation. Unlike many, they eschewed formal wine education, agronomists, and oenologists, opting instead to learn through hands-on experience in vineyards and cellars. Their inaugural fermentation in 2010 was plagued by mishaps, prompting them to seek the intervention of an expert grandmother, known for her skill in dispelling the evil eye, to perform a ritual over their grapes. Miraculously, it proved successful, giving rise to Lammidia ("evil eye" in Abruzzese dialect), their venture into winemaking. - From Cream Wine
