A Word From Our Founder

Hi friends,

December has a way of slowing everything down in the best possible way. The days feel shorter, the evenings feel longer, and there is more space for gathering, reflecting, and opening something special just because it feels like the right moment.

To our longtime 3 Club members, thank you for continuing to explore with us month after month. Your curiosity and trust allow us to share wines that are thoughtful, expressive, and a little outside the box. And to those joining us for the first time this December, welcome. You picked a lovely month to jump in.

This month’s selection is all about balance and contrast. You will find something bright and grounding, something lively and celebratory, and something textured and intriguing. Together, these bottles capture what we love most about the 3 Club. A chance to experience different styles, moods, and regions in one thoughtful shipment. These are wines that can move easily from quiet nights at home to festive meals and spontaneous celebrations.

As the year winds down, we hope these bottles bring you moments of joy, curiosity, and connection. Thank you for being part of the MYSA community and for supporting independent producers around the world with every shipment.

Wishing you a cozy, joyful December and a beautiful close to the year.

Cheers,
Holly

Club Pick 1

Organically and biodynamically farmed Cabernet Franc grown on gravel and clay soils around Saint Loubès. Fermented and aged with a focus on purity and structure, this is a direct, fruit driven expression of Bordeaux Franc with dark tones and firm edges that make it adaptable at the table.

Château L'ESCART stands as a testament to a centuries-old winemaking legacy, deeply rooted in traditional agricultural heritage. Located at the gateway to Bordeaux, its 37-hectare vineyard, comprising a single block with vines averaging 43 years, reflects a profound dedication to authenticity. The unique clay-limestone soil, a hallmark since 1752, imparts unparalleled quality to the wines.

The vineyard's strategic location on a clay-limestone plateau ensures Château L'ESCART wines embody freshness, length, and distinction. The limestone contributes to the wines' elegance, while the clay adds strength and density—hallmark characteristics of the finest Bordeaux wines.

Club Pick 2

A fresh, lightly sparkling white from Vinho Verde made to be bright and precise. Azal and Arinto ferment cleanly before finishing malolactic fermentation in bottle, creating a fine, energetic bubble. Bottled unfiltered with low sulfur, it shows crisp acidity, mineral lift and an easy, refreshing feel.

Aperitif, grilled fish, fresh cheese salads, shellfish

Citrus zest, green apple, wet stone, fine bubbles, sharp acidity

Some wines are good. Some wines are great. And some? They’re Sem Igual—literally “without equal.” This isn’t just another Vinho Verde producer. It’s a love story, a passion project, and a bold reimagining of what Portuguese wine can be.

It all started with João Camizão, an ex-telecom engineer who ditched the corporate grind to revive his family’s winemaking roots (which date back to 1780, no big deal). After a life-changing stint in India, João came back home with one mission: to make wines that truly matter—wines that tell a story, break a few rules, and bring people together.

Club Pick 3

An organic, high altitude Roditis from Edanos, a family winery focused on natural viticulture in Aigialeia. Old bush trained vines on clay and limestone are harvested by hand and given a 14 day maceration before spontaneous fermentation. Maturation in a mix of barrels and amphorae adds gentle texture while keeping the wine bright and clean. A clear, expressive orange wine with purity, structure and mountain freshness.

Grilled fish, mezze, root vegetables, citrus salads, soft cheeses

Citrus peel, apricot, dried flowers, herbal notes, light tannin, crisp finish

Edanos Winery is a small, family-run organic estate in Kalamia, Aigialeia, Greece, dedicated to showcasing the region’s indigenous varieties, including Roditis, Lagorthi, Moschato, Mavro Kalavrytino, and Mavrodafni. The vineyards are mostly bush trained and dry farmed, and the wines are naturally vinified, reflecting the family’s focus on purity, expression, and high-quality traditional viticulture.
