Vinessens

We met Vinessens at Real Wine in London and immediately fell in love with the range of white and amber wines they were producing, majority coming from Monastrell. With a range from light whites to flor covered ambers, some have skin contact for over 2 years. Their vines are mainly over 100 years old on a mix of soils, with the majority on sand.

About the Winemaker

Vinessens

We encountered Vinessens at Real Wine in London and were immediately captivated by their diverse array of white and amber wines, predominantly crafted from Monastrell grapes. Ranging from delicate whites to flor-covered ambers, some undergo skin contact for over two years.

Their vineyards boast predominantly century-old vines, thriving on a variety of soils, primarily sandy. Many of their wines exude a coastal influence, evident in their saline character, pronounced minerality, and hints of local herbs like rosemary and thyme. Situated on a hillside, their land spans approximately 23 hectares, with elevations ranging from 550 to 700 meters.
