Les Maoû is a wine producer based in the heart of Gordes, Vaucluse, France. The winery is run by Vincent and Aurélie Garreta, who are known for their organic viticulture practices and producing wines with minimal intervention. They work with a variety of grapes including Grenache, Clairette, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Aubun, with a focus on creating balanced and soulful wines. The Garretas employ a small team during harvest, emphasizing traditional techniques like foot stomping and semi-carbonic maceration.

Landscape: The region boasts a variety of landscapes, including the Mont Ventoux, the Luberon mountain range, and the plains of Comtat Venaissin. The area is known for its picturesque villages, vineyards, and lavender fields.
Climate: Vaucluse experiences a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The Mistral wind, a strong northwesterly wind, frequently influences the weather.
