Fond Cyprès

Fond Cyprès first wines have grown since 2004. They have worked very hard over the years to find their vineyard’s identity. They have gotten to know each plot, try different winemaking methods, and grape varieties. Building on successful discoveries, their wines are free and accomplished.

About the Winemaker

Fond Cyprès

Fond Cyprès wines, crafted by Laetitia Ourliac and Rodolphe Gianesini, offer a soulful and luscious lineup featuring Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, Muscat, and Cinsault, along with various blends. This charming couple, often referred to as the Brigitte Bardot of Corbières and her endearing husband, are dedicated to producing wines that express the sultry essence of the Languedoc region, particularly from their home in Escales, at the northern edge of the Corbières AOC.

Their 15-hectare domaine, beginning at the end of a road lined with cypress trees, spans across lush vegetation reminiscent of a secret garden. Here, they grow olives, tomatoes, eggplants, wild herbs, and even nurture newly-born kittens.
