The Producer

About Cambon

Originally conceived by three friends, including the late Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Claude Chanudet, and Joseph Chamonard, the legacy of this project now rests with Jean-Claude and his wife Geneviève, Joseph's daughter. Their journey began with the acquisition of a 13-hectare parcel, recognized for its esteemed quality despite lacking grand cru status. Planted in 1914 across three parcels, the vineyard boasts a diverse soil composition of clayey granite and calcareous-sand. Expanding the plantings to harness the nuances of the terrain, they meticulously blend the wines to create a harmonious expression of the entire plot. The 'réserve' bottling, sourced from the oldest vines known as 'Le Cambon,' epitomizes their dedication to showcasing the vineyard's true character
