Cambon

A project that started with three friends: Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Claude Chanudet, and Joseph Chamonard. A 13-hectare parcel in France that dates back to 1914. They follow biodynamic and organic practices while tending the vines without chemicals or inorganic fertilizers.

About the Winemaker

Cambon

Originally conceived by three friends, including the late Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Claude Chanudet, and Joseph Chamonard, the legacy of this project now rests with Jean-Claude and his wife Geneviève, Joseph's daughter. Their journey began with the acquisition of a 13-hectare parcel, recognized for its esteemed quality despite lacking grand cru status. Planted in 1914 across three parcels, the vineyard boasts a diverse soil composition of clayey granite and calcareous-sand. Expanding the plantings to harness the nuances of the terrain, they meticulously blend the wines to create a harmonious expression of the entire plot. The 'réserve' bottling, sourced from the oldest vines known as 'Le Cambon,' epitomizes their dedication to showcasing the vineyard's true character
