Producer Profile

Le Coste

Le Coste, nestled north of Rome with vineyards sloping toward Lake Bolsena, enjoys an ideal climate for grape cultivation. Gianmarco and Clementine, the driving force behind the domaine, seized the opportunity to acquire vineyards on the lake's cascading north side, amassing approximately 8 hectares over a decade. Clem's agronomic expertise shines as she tends to the vines with biodynamic practices, fostering biodiversity. Meanwhile, Gianmarco, seasoned by experiences with notable figures in France, infuses the wines with passion and skepticism. Their cellar in downtown Gradoli exudes Burgundian sophistication, housing wines aged in old barriques and botti until perfection is achieved. - El Ranchoq
