Producer Profile

Dewey's Wines

In 2009, Charlie Miller embarked on a harvest job in Napa, setting off a journey that took him through cellars across the globe, from South Africa to New Zealand, Argentina, and back to California, with stops in San Francisco, Sonoma, and Santa Cruz along the way. With each experience, he refined his distinctive approach to winemaking.

The core of his expertise is divided between two key wineries: A.P. VIN, where he specialized in crafting vineyard-designate pinot noirs spanning the California coast, and Cruse Wine Company, where he served as assistant to Michael Cruse for five years. At Cruse, he honed his skills in producing a diverse range of wines, from meticulously crafted petillant naturels to complex, focused reds.
