Podere Giardino

For over a century now, agriculture and smart animal husbandry have been developed together.‹Handed down for generations, this tradition is now achieving paying off by combining sustainability, quality, and innovation.‹This is how our wine was born.

Then as now, we use only natural organic fertilizers, because in our view respecting the land is the way to care for each other.‹Out collective future also depends on each of us.
The Crotti family seeks to rediscover the more authentic flavours of the past: their products promote the values which inspire their daily work. This is where their organic Lambrusco wine Suoli Cataldi was born, a PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin), 100% natural and refined. - Podere Giardino

About the Winemaker

Podere Giardino

Since the late 19th century, our family's legacy has revolved around two cherished passions: the nurturing of dairy cows for Parmigiano Reggiano and the cultivation of Lambrusco grapes. Great-grandfather Donnino's modest herd, coupled with his love for viticulture, laid the foundation for our enduring tradition. This symbiotic blend of animal husbandry and winemaking has been faithfully passed down through generations, with each member of the Crotti family contributing to the farm's growth. From grandfather Adolfo to his son Bruno and wife Lella, and now to us—Marco, Paolo, and Federica—since 2001, we've remained dedicated to marrying tradition with innovation.
