RiChard Pet Nat 2021

Imagine you’re a winemaker and you make a wine bursting with tropical energy, round and bright, and tasting like bushels of fruit from far-flung countries. "Fermentation is so cool!" you exclaim, tasting barrel samples in your hypothetical winery. But how would you appropriately convey a propitious sense of wonder in the name of your wine? Now, imagine you are not just a winemaker, but two Slovakian winemakers, and your names are Šroner and Sütó—now perhaps you can guess why this wine is called RiChard. This bottle is a generous, round Slovakian take on our favorite prima ballerina white grape. What is so often interpreted in a doldrum fashion is given a Slovakian make-over and she looks gooood. Keep it cold and drink it in abundance.

About Strekov 1075

Our company name bears the significance of Strekov's earliest documented mention, symbolizing our deep-rooted commitment to tradition, nature, and the essence of winemaking in Strekov. Cultivating 12 hectares of vineyards with utmost ecological responsibility, we prioritize indigenous grape varietals such as Rizling vlašský, Veltlínske zelené, Modrý Portugal, Frankovka modrá, and Svätovavrinecké across our 5 hectares of vineyards supported by wooden poles. Embracing a hands-on approach, all vineyard tasks are meticulously carried out by hand. In the cellar, our wines undergo spontaneous fermentation in barrels and open vats, devoid of any intervention.
