Domaine Giachino

Domaine Giachino is located in the Chartreuse regional park on the slopes of Mount Granier. The estate spans 15 hectares and is managed by Frédéric, David, and Clément Giachino. The vineyards are organically and biodynamically farmed, with a focus on traditional Savoyard grape varieties. The estate transitioned to organic farming in 2006 and follows sustainable practices to preserve the natural environment​.

Savoie

Location: Savoie is situated in the French Alps, bordering Italy to the east. It is part of the larger historical region of Savoy, which also includes Haute-Savoie.
Landscape: The region is characterized by its mountainous terrain, including the famous Mont Blanc massif, the highest peak in Western Europe. Savoie also features numerous lakes, such as Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France.
Climate: Savoie experiences a varied climate, with cold, snowy winters ideal for skiing and mild summers perfect for hiking and outdoor activities. The higher altitudes have an alpine climate, while the valleys enjoy a more temperate climate.
