Producer Profile

Do.t.e.

do.t.e. (down to earth) represents an innovative venture delving into alternative approaches to contemporary viticulture. Embracing a philosophy of progression through retrospection, we return to the agricultural roots to chart a path towards a more sustainable future. Our mission is to craft wines that authentically express their essence, transcending mere production regulations to embody the core values of our project: health, ethics, and everyday life. With vineyards cultivated since 2015, totaling 4 hectares under our stewardship, we adhere to sustainable agricultural practices that prioritize harmony with both people and nature. In the cellar, our commitment to minimal intervention continues, eschewing additives as grapes ferment spontaneously with their own yeasts.

Where The Wines Come From

Tuscany

Tuscany, located in central Italy, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, historic towns, and world-class wines. In recent years, the region has also become a focal point for natural winemaking. With its diverse terroir, including hillsides, valleys, and coastal areas, Tuscany provides an ideal environment for sustainable viticulture. Natural winemakers in Tuscany prioritize organic and biodynamic farming methods, cultivating native grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Trebbiano, and Vernaccia with minimal intervention. By eschewing chemical additives and focusing on natural fermentation, they produce wines that showcase the region's rich history and unique terroir. Tuscany's natural wines are known for their elegance, balance, and complexity, with reds offering ripe fruit flavors, firm tannins, and a sense of place that reflects the region's sun-drenched vineyards and rolling hills. As the demand for authentic and terroir-driven wines continues to grow, Tuscany remains a leader in the natural wine movement, offering a taste of Italy's rich cultural heritage and winemaking traditions with each bottle.
