Les Maoû is a wine producer based in the heart of Gordes, Vaucluse, France. The winery is run by Vincent and Aurélie Garreta, who are known for their organic viticulture practices and producing wines with minimal intervention. They work with a variety of grapes including Grenache, Clairette, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Aubun, with a focus on creating balanced and soulful wines. The Garretas employ a small team during harvest, emphasizing traditional techniques like foot stomping and semi-carbonic maceration.

Benjamin Taillandier, a visionary winemaker, embarked on his journey with a commitment to crafting wines that embody a unique philosophy. After completing winemaking school, Benjamin gained experience in a conventional winery before meeting natural winemaker Jean-Baptiste Senat in 2004. Inspired by Senat's innovative ideas and techniques, Benjamin pursued a similar winemaking philosophy.

In 2007, Benjamin returned to his family's hometown of Caunes-Minervois, located between Carcassonne and the Montagne Noire. He acquired 5.7 hectares of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, and Terret Gris, initially farming organically and later transitioning to biodynamics.
