Sanctum
Located in the northeast region of Slovenia, this estate was first settled by mid-12th century French Carthusian monks who planted it with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines. All of the grapes are hand-picked on the steep slopes and in the winemaking process they are vinified with minimal intervention. All of their wines are made in a traditional style as The Podkubovšek family has always cherished and been proud of their local heritage.
