The three Meyers along with a harem of ridgebacks called their little homestead Platteklip Vineyard. It is situated just 18 miles from the Atlantic Ocean at between 2,000-2,600 feet above sea level in a small valley. He and Anri are working to establish a new W.O. called Piketberg, or Piket-bo-berg, for the lands around their vineyard because it truly is nothing like the Swartland.
