About the Winemaker

Fruktstereo

After years of diverse roles in the restaurant industry, ranging from runners to sommeliers, Karl Sjöström and Mikael Nypelius embarked on a journey to champion quality produce, particularly beverages. In 2014, they delved into importing natural wines from their friends across Europe, aiming to deepen their knowledge of sustainable and natural products. Concurrently, they ventured into production themselves, birthing FRUKTSTEREO in 2016. Initially crafting their creations at Hällåkra Vingård near Malmö, they soon established their own facility in the city's old harbor area. In 2020, they restructured their company, segregating its components for clarity. VINSTEREO now represents their imported beverages distributed throughout Sweden.
