Made in the traditional way of 'boiled wine' in Penedes. The grape must is boiled down until it's concentrated with a high acidity and sugar left. Then mixed with some of the juice from Missatge and fermented slowly again for a year.

A very special, expressive sweet wine, with a great minerality, fruit, acidity and a full body.

About Amós Bañeres

Amós Bañeres is part of a movement to return to nature. He chose wine and is making superb micro Cuvées from a few tiny parcels of family vineyard. He’s part rational, part spiritual – in equal parts. Amós used to work as a pharmacist, for 7 years, after training for 5 years. But he looked for more in life and out of life. So he and his wife and two young kids took off on a sailing boat to Greece for a whole year, as a result of which Amós decided to change his life and grow wine because of his passion to work with, in nature. His family had been farmers for several generations, growing grapes, and farming sheep on a very small scale. Amós wanted to work outside, and be with nature. So he returned to school in Tarragona to learn winemaking and asked his family if he could take over the few hectares of vines they owned. He followed up school with a couple of years experience in a large cellar where he learned mostly what not to do to grow great quality fruit and make great quality wine.
