A precise and elegant rosé made from Blaufränkisch grown on limestone-rich soils. Grapes are picked over five harvest days from the coolest, chalkiest plots to capture a full range of aromatics. The juice is gently pressed with no skin contact, then fermented with native yeasts in large barrels. Aged on the lees without racking, fining, filtration, or added sulfur. The result is a laser-sharp, pink-hued white wine with floral spice, finesse, and purity.

Christian Tschida tends 10 hectares of century-old vines in Burgenland, Austria, a region renowned for red and sweet wines. Benefiting from a diverse terroir of sandy gravel, schist, and limestone, influenced by nearby Lake Neusiedler, his vineyards thrive. Tschida's hands-off winemaking involves extended barrel aging, up to 5 years, allowing the wines to develop complexity. The use of a vertical basket press, applied with gentle pressure akin to a handshake, extracts only the finest juice. This meticulous process, coupled with Tschida's practice of returning must and juice to the vines, underscores his commitment to sustainable viticulture, nurturing his family's legacy for future generations.
