Via Revolucionaria is the brainchild of Matias Michelini, the mastermind behind Passionate Wines, where he serves as winemaker, agronomist, and chief visionary. Matias is dedicated to crafting experimental wines that authentically express their terroir. These limited-production wines draw inspiration from various sources, regions, and winemaking styles. Each offering from Via Revolucionaria is a unique expression of a single vineyard, defying convention and fermented with native yeast. From the skin-macerated Torrontes "Brutal" to the unfiltered Semillon "Hulk" and the carbonic macerated Bonarda "Pura," Matias pushes boundaries with each cuvee. His ongoing experimentation revolves around producing either unconventional varietals or employing atypical methods with classic varietals.
