Producer Profile

Sonnhof Social Club

"In 2020, Alwin and Stef Jurtschitsch joined forces with three fellow certified organic growers in Kamptal—Susi Hahn, Michael Gerbing, and Thomas Janka—to craft the inaugural vintage of Sonnhof Social Club. Renewing a longstanding tradition of bottling liter and doppler (two-liter) bottles, the collaboration breathes new life into the Jurtschitsch family legacy. United by their commitment to organic cultivation in Kamptal, these growers meticulously hand-harvest all grapes from their certified organic vineyards. The winemaking process takes place at the Jurtschitsch winery, utilizing stainless steel tanks and spontaneous fermentations.

Inspired by the traditional loop-style label once adorning Jurtschitsch family doppler bottles, the Sonnhof Social Club label pays homage to this heritage.
