Orange Wine Box

WELCOME TO OUR ORANGE NATURAL WINE BOX!

This season is all about orange wines, the colors of the fall just call for it! If you love orange natural wines, this box is a wonderful mix of light oranges that you might not know were macerated on their skins, all the way up to some that have been on their skins for years!

For this box, we've taken 7 bottles of what should be over $245.65 of natural wine and discounted it to $219.95.

The box includes:

Jamón Jamón | Rogue Vine

$23.95
A very expressive nose with notes of quince, flowers and orange peel, and a touch of spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with a slight grip. It makes a great aperitif and is perfect with ham!

Chilion | Ruth Lewendowski

$41.95

Chilion Cortese is a skin-fermented white wine made from 35-year-old vines. The juice macerated with the skins for roughly 6 months. The fermentation occurred naturally with native yeast and without temperature control. The wine went through full native malolactic fermentation. It was bottled unfined, unfiltered and without sulfites.

Vino Naranja | Cacique Maravilla

$27.95

Spending 2 months on skins, it is slightly bitter yet floral and smokey and usually a little juicy as well. It's also old vines in volcanic soil which add lovely complexity. For being a deeper orange, it's surprisingly light on the palette!

Pinot Gris WS | Domaine de l'Envol

$52.95

This wine is from a cru plot and has a slightly taller bottle than the rest of the wines, indicating its status. The Pinot Gris had quite a bit of skin contact so it’s a wonderful balance of acid, RS, and slight tannin to create a full mouth-feel and great texture that’s the most complex of the group.

Flor de la Mata | Vinessens

$27.95
Talk about a different style of wine! It is fermented on its skins in clay amphora then remains on the skins in the amphora for two years under the cap of the flor. Similar to a fino/manzanilla sherry style.

City Pop | Joe Swick

$33.95

Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Auxerrois, and Pinot Gris were fermented separately with 14 days of skin maceration using native yeast. Ferments are worked by foot one to two times a day with no temp control.

Al Basc | La Clarine Farm

$36.95

Skin-fermented and skin-macerated Albariño was whole cluster fermented in an open-top fermented. Lovely orange notes with a bit of tannin. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered with all of its cloudy, intense glory.
